After leaving Oxford with a Master’s degree in Economics, Julius spent 15 years in the city as a Fund Manager running Hedge Fund and Absolute Return mandates, working at firms such as Goldman Sachs, Blackrock and Aviva Investors before becoming a Chartered Financial Planner. He is highly experienced in all forms of tax, inheritance, modelling and investment advice and specialises in holistic, transformational Financial Planning, Advice and Wealth Management. He is one of those rare breeds holding both the Chartered Financial Analyst and Chartered Financial Planner designations and is known for being a solution-orientated problem solver.
Julius advises people from all walks of life – from individuals and entrepreneurs to trustees and family estates - and finds he has a deeply fulfilling role in helping empower people take control of their own finances. He is a member of the CISI’s Editorial Board, helping write and shape thought pieces for the industry, and has given lectures and talks on industry best practice at business schools and at conferences. He also consults for articles in the press and enjoys furthering knowledge about financial literacy in general.
