Fiscally Neutral is something of a favourite term in statements of this parliament, it at least sounds better than – don’t get your hopes up for paying less tax or getting more services!

- A cap to be introduced on welfare spending (excluding the state pension)
- State pension age rising – as we heard yesterday
- Tax crackdown on those trying to avoid CGT/income tax
- CGT on gains for non-residents who sell property from April 2015
